T F Smith Joinery Ltd is a family run business which has been producing high quality Joinery at its Newland site for 60 years.

Spanning 3 generations the company was started by
Thomas F Smith on 5th July 1948 initially producing furniture components for the Witney Blanket Company.

In 1968 Tom was joined by his youngest son Robin and when in 1971 Tom retired, ownership of the company was handed to Robin. Robin immediately branched out into different and more technical areas of Joinery which ultimately lead to winning prestigious contracts such as the “Joinery Refurbishment of Reading Town Hall”.

Robin, along with his with Sandra, have continued to take the company in this direction aiming at producing high quality hand crafted bespoke Joinery using only the finest craftsman and materials to sites all over the South of England. This to date has been a fantastic success.

Robin and Sandra are now joined by 2 of their 3 sons at the company. The youngest, Adam, is a joiner and Grant, who works as a draftsman/estimator.

Between them they will to continue taking the company forward into the future. Making sure they maintain the high levels and traditions set by both their Fathers and Grandfathers.
